Like the title expresses, the subject of this painting is of two worlds. Modeled after a mandarine vampire crab, the colors jump right of the canvas! This crab is of water and land, and the colors speak of those transitions. The crab is lined with gold detail, and the eyes have been washed with an iridescent yellow to accentuate the compound eye effect.
