These paintings were created using acrylic paints.  Several paintings utilize iridescent and metallic paints, and the lighting was changed during the photographing of some paintings to show their quality.

An asterisk, or "star" ( * ), marked on the title of any painting featured within Jason's website means that painting has sold.

The paintings of this series ignites a sensation of wonder.  The Auroras  is not only part of a self portrait, but it is also a transport.  Imagine seeing the colors unfold in front of your eyes.  The wind gently blowing through the tree branches, or rolling softly over mountain tops.   You have no control, and the Universe is taking your mind over with imagination and awe.

Different moments in each painting speaks to the timeline, and the history of human beings, and The Auroras also illustrates who the Artist is himself.  Jason chose the title Soul, Dreams, & Magic for the final painting of this series for a reason.  Within just a few words it best captures everything The Auroras is about.  It is with all the hope in the world for anyone who views these paintings to feel everything greater then themselves, and to become lost in its beauty.
